Cabrillo Symphonic Chorus

The Cabrillo Chorus was formed when Cabrillo College opened its doors in Watsonville High School in 1961.

In 1988, the chorus toured the Soviet Union.  San Jose Public Television Station, KTEH, accompanied the chorus, producing the documentary Rediscovering Rachmaninoff.

In the fall of 1991, Cheryl Anderson stepped upon the podium, bringing her bright personality, brilliant musicianship, and a vast choral repertoire.Under her direction, the chorus has toured widely in the Europe and the US, including performances in St. Peter's Basiiica in the Vatican and Carnegie Hall in New York City.
